Rooms are ok. Shower sprayed everywhere but your body…. Food? Don’t bother, service is shocking. Ordered steak, it was full of gristle & fat. Manager said he was not going to waste another steak on us?!? Said Ribeye is meant to be fatty!! Would not refund the steak either. Manager was rude. Staff cannot cope behind the bar… very slow for such a small bar (comment from an experienced bar person/waitress in the past).

Never stay here. Our room had mold all on the window ledge, homeless woman behind the employee counter stealing when I tried to check in and nobody talked to me about it, room wasn’t clean, holes in the ceiling and stains. Then when you complain, nobody bothers to reach out. I’ve been trying to talk to someone since we stayed in July.

I stayed for a conference, and we had issues starting with airport arrival. We were told they have airport shuttle service, so we called upon arrival. Waited for thirty minutes. Walked up and down the lane. No shuttle. Checked with airport workers who also said no Crowne Plaza shuttle had arrived. Called again, and was told “Must’ve missed it.” We did not miss a large white van with “Crowne Plaza” but we had to take a $40 taxi instead an hour after we landed. Upon check-in, they told us we did not have a credit card on file despite booking the room sixth months in advance and confirming the card details earlier in the week. This was an ongoing issue to get resolved between frequently changing front desk employees. Apparently, guests were supposed to be given gift bags upon check in, but we did not receive ours until we went to purchase bottles of water hours later. “Have you already used the waters in your check in bags?” Well, what check in bags? The shuttle service was intermittent, and no one ever mentioned that we needed to be on the “shuttle schedule” until we were left at a restaurant awaiting shuttle pick up for 1.5 hours. There was no apology from the front desk for leaving us for such a long period of time. Ultimately, we had to rely on Lyft and Uber because while the shuttle drivers were excellent, the front desk folks were not great at communicating requests to the shuttle drivers. Generally, the majority of our encounters with the front desk were lackluster, and the employees generally seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing or they were not interested in helping. We received a variety of different answers to questions and we were left confused. Our rooms were clean, but there were no wash clothes provided. Tissues were hit or miss. Rooms were a little outdated. On the elevator, one fellow guest asked “I hate to pry, but are your rooms clean?” She then launched into a description of her dirty room and that she was going to request a new room immediately. The hotel is close to downtown and many “fun” restaurants and businesses. However, like many cities, there is a mental health and drug crisis, and the hotel did not seem particularly bothered that an unhoused gentleman nearly followed us into the lobby whilst shirtless and removing other articles of clothing. We alerted the front desk, and they slowly asked another employee to handle the situation as the man danced and gesticulated to us through the lobby windows. Overall, if you needed a hotel room but other hotels were booked, you’d probably be fine here. If other hotels are available, I’d recommend staying at those instead.

I stayed here for a business trip, booked for 4 nights. I left after the 3rd night because there were too many issues. I asked for a room away from the elevator for a quieter space and was given one across from the elevator that had a connecting room to it--so I got to hear everything going on in the next room (thin walls). I was advised on my first night there by a nice female bartender that I "shouldn't walk outside alone" due to the high crime rate. A few moments after that, several patrons came to the bar inquiring about the 13 people several days before in a street party who had been shot, stabbed or hit by cars. High crime area: noted. When I did get to my hotel room, I was barely able to lock the deadbolt on my door; only after much working and fiddling with the positioning of the door did I get the deadbolt to actually work--and forget about the little chain-slide lock; whoever installed it did it incorrectly--the lock didn't reach the slide. The room was dirty: sticky areas on surfaces, floors with trash, dusty, bedside table had someone's N95 mask in it, the toilet paper was not properly stocked in the bathroom, with little bits hanging off one of the two rolls. The room itself is rundown, pieces cracked and broken here and there, bare wires sticking out from under the wall. The curtains do not shut all the way--at least a 3 foot gap with only the sheers there, so it was bright with city lights when I tried to sleep--there was no way to pull the curtains together, even if I had a way to clip them. It is loud at this location, so if you are a light sleeper, good luck getting rest. Other notable issues: the old telephone in the room was broken/does not work, so you can't call down to the desk/use the phone. The parking pass I got to get in and out of the garage did not work any single time I used it, so I had to "call for help" each time I went in and out of the parking garage. Housekeeping is a joke: literally, the only thing they did when they came into my room was to change out one trash can liner and leave an incomplete set of towels (bath mat and towel, no washcloth). They didn't even take the dirty washcloth I had in the shower--just left it balled up there. When issues were addressed with the front desk employees, they are nice and say "oh, I'm sorry, or "I didn't know that" but nothing gets taken care of--they asked someone to bring me a towel set after I asked for simply a new washcloth and I got another bath mat and towel. I was promised a certain amount of IHG points when I checked out early, along with an apology and have not gotten those points. This place is absolutely a disgrace, and IHG needs to clean it up. Would never stay here again.
